With the new training program in 2024 came many questions and insecurities – especially regarding the change in categorisation of Schwerpunkt-clinics (établissements de formation approfondie).
The SVPA recently wrote on information flyer about this topic in coordination with the SGPP/SSPP, with the aim of correcting some misinformation going around – namely, that training periods in Schwerpunkt-clinics cannot be counted as “A years” for the psychiatry and psychotherapy specialist title.
