We are delighted to invite all members to the General Assembly (GA) of SVPA-ASMAP-ASAP, which will take place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at 10:30 am at the HUG – Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (Amphithéâtre Ajuriaguerra, Belle Idée), and simultaneously online via Google Meet.
The General Assembly is one of the most important moments of the year: a time when board members and trainees from across Switzerland come together to align priorities, set goals for the year ahead, and ensure that our association continues to grow in strength and impact. Why attend?
Our association exists to support psychiatry and psychotherapy trainees in Switzerland. We provide peer-to-peer support, share reliable information about the training programme, and advocate for high-quality, time-protected training conditions in all regions. We also represent your voice towards key national institutions such as the SSPP, ISFM-FMH, and VSAO.
The General Assembly is your chance to directly contribute to this mission: to ask questions, make proposals, and take part in shaping the direction of psychiatric training in Switzerland.
Looking for new board members
This year, several board positions are open, including Treasurer, General Secretary, and Communication Manager. We would be delighted to welcome new colleagues from different regions of Switzerland to help strengthen our network, co-organise the pre-congress, and contribute to developing new resources for trainees.
Joining the board offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the structures that regulate our training, connect with colleagues across Switzerland and Europe, broaden your perspective on psychiatry, and build valuable teamwork and leadership skills.
