Retreat 2025

Save the date: 17–19 October 2025

This year’s SVPA-ASMAP-ASAP Retreat will take place in Geneva, and we warmly invite all psychiatry trainees, early-career psychiatrists, and medical students interested in the field to join us.

Under the theme “Building Tools, Building Trust”, we will focus on developing concrete solutions to strengthen confidence: in ourselves as future specialists, in our professional community, and in the future of mental health care in Switzerland. Through open dialogue, collaboration and practical work sessions, we aim to build the foundations for a more supportive and trustworthy psychiatric training environment.

Friday: Welcome Apero

Join us at 7:00 PM for an informal apéro, your first drink is on us. Whether you’re new to the field or already part of our community, this is a relaxed way to meet colleagues from across Switzerland, catch up, and connect with board members. It’s a great opportunity to get to know who we are, what we do, and how you can be part of it, all while enjoying a drink and some good conversations.

Saturday: Building the Future

A full working day for board members: we’ll reflect on trainee challenges, explore practical solutions, and shape the future of SVPA-ASMAP-ASAP. In the afternoon: team-building and dinner for board members.

Sunday: General Assembly 

Open to all members attend in person or online. We’ll discuss upcoming projects, training policies and international opportunities. Curious? Motivated? Join the conversation.
